A proverb is a short expression that transmits popular wisdom in a memorable way. Different cultures have different proverbs, but there is a particular set of sayings that have stood the test of time. Originally compiled by one of the smartest kings ever, and inspired by God himself, the Proverbs of the Bible are still immensely practical for all areas of life.

What is wisdom? Is it Common Sense? Or is it "Knowing yourself" and the ways of the world? Or is it something else entirely?
