It seems timely to consider a week after Easter that Christ shared with his disciples an important task following his resurrection. Before his ascension, he calls them to follow his example here on earth and to bear witness of him to everyone. Over this last month we’ve observed five portraits of our Risen Lord. Join us as we consider a sixth and final one, focusing our minds on these last and crucial imperatives of our life’s sole Master and the Church’s one Head and Chief Shepherd.

Today we remember the story of Mary Magdalene at Jesus’ tomb and watch her grief turn to joy as her questions about Jesus’ death are answered, while at the same time new questions arise about what it means to serve a risen Savior. What do you do with your hard questions?

On Friday Jesus was crucified and the effect on the disciples was devastating. They felt all hope was lost. However, on Sunday all that changed when Jesus rose from the grave. Hope is alive—the Hope that can truly change your life too!
