Today, political division is at it’s worst. Sadly it often even affects the church & how we treat one another. By contrast, the Word of God calls Christians to honor & submit to earthly governing authorities, the only exception being if they call us to forsake God & His Word. We honor & submit not for their sakes, but for the Lord’s sake. If Christ is our King, than we must submit to His call to submit to & honor temporary earthly authorities in this world, until the true & eternal King returns
