Colossians: Christ Is All
Dan Kroon • Willetton Christian Church • Sermon • • 12 views • 32:08
Col 4:2-6. Dan Kroon. When Paul tells us to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience (3:12), or to clothe ourselves with Christ (Ro 13:14), he’s expecting that we’ll wear that clothing in every relationship in and every context we’re part of. We’ve already considered it for the church, the home and the workplace, and now we consider it for the world in general. It’s about ‘making the most of every opportunity’, to live and act and speak in a way that highlights the love and forgiveness of Jesus. But we cannot do this without prayer. Prayer is what makes it possible. Prayer is what opens doors. Prayer, with watchfulness and thankfulness, is the essential ingredient.
