I love to sing. And I especially like to sing songs of praise to God. That hasn’t always been the case. I can remember growing up singing hymns thinking- these are dull and boring. Graduate
Pastor Alex Jackson • Fresh Church • Sermon • • 78 views • 1:17:13
This week Pastor Alex continued the series "Graduate in the Spirit". Pastor Alex preached from Mark 5:1-20, talking about the demon possessed man in Gerasa. Pastor Alex brought forth a two-fold sermon on Deliverance. One from the perspective of the sinner and the other from the perspective of the saint. Pastor Alex said two reasons it's hard for sinners to truly get delivered. One reason is because of the environment and people they surround themselves with. The other reason is because the evil spirits on the inside are stronger than the person.
The second part of the sermon dealing with the saints, Pastor Alex dealt with the question, "Why do I still feel trapped by the devil even why I'm doing everything right?" Pastor Alex then refered to Job, Paul and Silas, and Jesus Christ as examples of people who did nothing wrong, but was still trapped and imprisoned by the enemy.
