We take an interlude from the Gospel of Mark to spend the next four weeks in the Gospel of John. In last week’s lesson, we skipped over the feeding of the five thousand in Mark and are now going to take the next few weeks to look at the context of that miracle found in the Gospel of John. In John’s Gospel, this miracle is an important part of understanding who Jesus is and his mission to the world.
