By looking closely at the events that took place in Genesis 3, we can see how Satan sets the bait waiting for someone to bite and then uses our own desires to lead us toward the progression of sin.

As we continue our journey through the Bible, we read in Genesis 3 of the tragedy of Adam and Eve's fall from innocence. We have inherited the consequences of their fall, and it defines so much of our world. But even within God's judgement of their terrible betrayal, we find the seeds of his gracious plan to bring us back into relationship with him. What are the consequences of Adam and Eve's sin? How do we escape that?
