Our efforts are futile apart from Jesus, but when we recognize this, we can look to him who is able to help, accepting his invitation to warm fellowship, always in wonder of him. As we fellowship with Jesus, we affirm our imperfect but sincere love for him, and we learn how we can serve Jesus by yielding to his will, just like Peter who lived his life knowing what torturous death he would suffer.

Among those who fish, exaggeration seems to be common. For some, the big fish gets a little longer each time the story is told. It would be easy for skeptics to write of this story as purely c of fishermen but we will see this is not your typical fish story.
