Prophecy in the Old Testament points time and again to someone who is coming. The events during the history of the Intertestamental Period show the Providence of God preparing things for the arrival of the Christ.
Mark 2020-2021

The human condition is bleak. Though many attempt to trumpet the inherent goodness of humanity, the reality of our own relationships, and of the relationships of communities, cities, states, and nations, proves quite the opposite. All of the evil things of the world have flowed out of the hearts of humans. Cleaning up the outside of lives makes us only hypocrites, still in bondage the base desires of our bodies. Jesus' Kiingdom is about God's rule within the lives of those who trust Him. God comes to reside within us. He has promised to give us new lives, eternal life, and new hearts. Hearts of flesh rather than hardened hearts of stone. We ought to continue to pursue Him, to trust Him. Keep on praying, saints! He is able to open deaf ears and make the truth plain. Sometimes, the answer to physical problems may be something spiritual. Shared by Jason Stuart Percy at Refuge Christian Fellowship Tallahassee on Sunday, March 8, 2020.

The Greeks trigger Jesus. Present culture uses the word “trigger” or “triggered” in many various ways today. Of course, trigger likely suggests a gun or a firing mechanism of some sort. But also, in recent years, the term has been used when an event or words trigger an emotional response of some sort.…

Attention Significance Let’s return to the first chapter of 1 Corinthians. We pick up where we left off in verse 22, and Paul is still dealing with division at Corinth. A few weeks ago, we looked at verses 12-13 where Paul addressed their political party spirit, “I am of Paul, Apollos, Cephas, or Christ.”…

You can watch this message on our YouTube channel, https://youtu.be/iC_li-k1NXo. From a purely human perspective, the gospel appears to be sheer silliness and totally unimpressive. But when it is properly understood and accepted, it is shown to be the wisest and most powerful message that the world has ever known. The message of the cross is the ultimate demonstration of God’s wisdom and power.

What do you know about Corinth? Aside from being a Greek town on an isthmus, it was also where Paul started a church back in Acts 18. By Pastor Glenn Pease If Simon the Zealot was a right-winger and Matthew the Publican a left- winger, Philip was a cautious middle of the roader. He had both liberal and conservative leanings.
