How can we pray with power? 1. We must take action by asking. 2. We must expand our expectations. 3. We must lift up our prayers in the Lord's name. 4. We must count on the Lord's commitments.

We need to: 1. Keep the right perspective (vs. 24-25). 2. See how much God values our life (vs. 26). 3. Recognize that worry is a waste (vs. 27). 4. Trust in God's care for us (vs. 26, 28-30). 5. Put first things first (vs. 31-33). 6. Take on trouble one day at a time (vs. 34).

1. Faith lets us walk with the Lord. 2. Faith makes it possible for us to please God. 3. Faith lets us profit from God's prophecies. 4. Faith reassures us about God's rewards.

Why do we need faith in God? 1. Faith motivates us to move for God (vs. 8-9). 2. Faith wins the fight against our fears (vs. 8-9). 3. Faith puts us in touch with God's power (vs. 11-12). 4. Faith makes us willing to wait on the Lord (vs. 9-10, 13-16).

Why is faith so important in my life? 1. Faith makes me a friend of God (vs. 8-9). 2. Faith moves me to follow God’s call (vs. 8-9). 3. Faith takes a firm grip on the infinite power of God (vs. 11-12). 4. Faith knows that God will fulfill His promises (vs. 9-10; 13-16).

We need faith in God, because faith is: 1. The only rock-solid foundation for life (vs. 1). 2. The only way to see the unseen spiritual world (vs. 1, 3). 3. The only way to truly worship God (vs. 4). 4. The only way to get a good report from God (vs. 2, 4).

When we have faith... 1. We will listen to God's warnings. 2. We will trust in God's wisdom. 3. We will start working for the Lord. 4. We will help make a difference in our world. 5. We will inherit God's righteousness.

We must... 1. Trust God when He stretches us. 2. Trust God to steer us. 3. Trust God to save us.
