God's Purpose As Seen Through Jesus' Life

[The last part of this recording was lost. Our apologies]. As Jesus commences "The Sermon on the Mount" he speaks to his followers: those who have repented and turned their lives towards him. Now he begins explaining what life in the kingdom of heaven (following him) is like. He explains how his followers should be, not so they can enter heaven, but because they already have. Christians follow Jesus for God's glory for the good of others.

Michael brings a Christmas message explaining that Jesus gives us a window of opportunity to accept Him as Saviour and to share His message with those around us before the window closes.

Theme: Church planting comes from the character of who God is. In the beginning, God planted our parents in the garden, He made them out of the dust from the ground. God created a people, He planted a people for His name, that would bring glory to His name by living and working through the creation.

Guest Speaker Shane Brown reminds of the oaks of righteousness that we can find in Isaiah 61. He wants to rebuild, renew, restore and give us a double portion.
