One in four Australians experience loneliness on a weekly basis, and that number seems to be growing. Some might even say it’s our next public health crisis. It doesn’t matter how high the population grows, how dense residential living gets, or how digitally connected we are; loneliness still pervades our society. Quality relationships are harder and harder to find and many people are searching for community. After all, we are made for community. It’s in our DNA. So, we need to go to the source – to the origin of relationship – for the answer to our search. Only in God can we find connection and community as it was meant to be. Only in him can our loneliness be truly cured.
