God is able to provide precisely what we need when we need it. We may not trust Him to do so, but He is fully capable, and we find rest to the degree we learn to trust in His promises. Jesus, God's Prophet to Israel, pronounced judgement against those who rejected Him. If we refuse Him, we remain under condemnation. While we know what is right, we fail to live loving Him and loving others. He came to save sinners. After trusting Him and being brought into His Kingdom by the gift of His righteousness and grace, we have the privilege of serving and loving those who are rejected and outcasts and even our enemies. We have the privilege of laying our lives down for anyone; for everyone. We are neighbor to anyone we are acting in love toward. Take the tax code, for example. Only professionals who study it for a living can understand it. The same…

By Pastor Glenn Pease Two men were looking at the epitaph on a tombstone which read, "Here lies an honest man and a good lawyer." One looked at the other and said, "I wonder why they put two men in the same grave?" Lawyers have not gained the best reputation for being honest men. One doctor asked another…

Is the law still for today? In other words do we still have responsibility to the law? If we are free from the law—meaning on this side of the cross the law holds no authority over us,,, Is it ok to lie? Or put in another way is it lawful to lie? Is it ok or lawful to kill? What about stealing? Is that…
