The end justifies the means……how many of us have even heard that saying? Probably all of us. The Right Pursuit

Sometimes we can view the Christian life as only doing good outwardly, but God wants to change us from the inside out. All In
Grand Point Church • Kevin Elworth • Sermon • • 2 views
The constant pursuit of the Lord is to call us up higher than we have been before. The very heart of God is forward and closer to him and that necessitates that we advance. The things he’s going to call us to are going to be out and away from our comfort and will always result in our leaving something behind.
For you to fully become the person God has for you to become then distance needs to be found between you and whatever will hold you back.
Should you be found standing in front of the Lord today and you proudly profess the same passion and excitement about your situation, what would he tell you that you still lack?
Listen, it’s important for you to understand that Jesus was not telling this man that he was not enough. He was fully enough.
Neither was this a situation of working for salvation. It’s not that this man needed to give up his stuff in order to be fully received by the Lord. That wasn’t it at all. He was already fully received. The Lord had fully received him, but he failed in fully receiving the Lord.
