Paradise. What a concept. What a word! What conjures up in your mind when you hear "Paradise"? The Lord through His angel gave John the Apostle-turned-prophet a tiny glimpse of Paradise. And not only him, but the Lord's angel gave another prophet a vision almost identical to what God gave John. Who was that prophet? Why did the Lord do this? And what is Paradise like, anyway? Jesus wants us to: 1. Strive to be like our Savior (vs. 24-25). 2. Focus on fearing the Lord (vs. 25-28). 3. Be encouraged by how much God treasures us (vs. 29-31). 4. Overcome our fears with faith (vs. 31). 5. Take a bold stand for our Savior (vs. 32-33).

The Lord wants us to: 1. Be aware of our adversaries (vs. 17-18, 21-22). 2. Count on Him when we have a crisis (vs. 19-20). 3. Know that His salvation is sure (vs. 22). 4. Carry on our work for Christ (vs. 23).

God’s Word gives us 4 pieces of evidence: 1. Being rejected by those who hate Jesus (vs. 1-9). 2. Living with great hope (vs. 10-15). 3. Striving for the highest standards (vs. 16; 18-21). 4. Giving with a generous heart (vs. 17).

Never give up on God because... 1. He can break giant barriers down (vs. 30). 2. He can turn sinners into saints (vs. 31). 3. He can turn us into godly heroes (vs. 32-35a). 4. He gives us strength when we suffer (vs. 35b-38). 5. He promises us a perfect ending (vs. 39-40).
