Results

Believers often experience a kind of punishment for doing the good work of the Lord. As Jesus told the disciples, when we minister in his name and with his gospel, this is what we should expect. The church must not give in to the temptation to avoid this trouble by continuing to do the good works but eliminating or reducing the proclamation of the name and gospel of Jesus Christ.

Despite the opposition and hostility that come, Jesus, the Son of God and the Christ, must be preached to bring salvation to those whom God is drawing to himself. Only through direct engagement with Him is sinful man brought to repentance and faith.
