It's fairly common to find people treating this Earth and this life as being all there is, and all there ever will be. You only have to look at news to see people worried for the future, and trying to create a better world for themselves and their descendents. But in Revelation 21, God makes his own promise, a promise of a whole new world that awaits all those who simply believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, and this world is far better than anything we could ever hope and imagine for ourselves.
