Nehemiah comes back to clean house and cleanse God’s people from sin.

Can we be saved by comparing ourselves to other people? Does it make any sense to justify my life based on how it compares to how other people live their lives?

Jesus cleanses ten lepers who cry out to him, hoping for an end to their separation from other people and from the community of faith - but only one comes back to give him thanks and praise, recognising him as God in the flesh, the source of healing and salvation. Jesus comes to end our separation from God - and if we understand he is the source of that healing, we will overflow with thankfulness towards him.

Though we may long for the presence of our Christian brethren, we give thanks for their memories and ministry, and we pray for God's protection and provision of one another.

Have you noticed that there is a plethora of churches and religious organizations out there? It can be overwhelming the variety even among those that claim to be based upon the Bible. How is one church supposed to relate to other churches? That's the issue we will be addressing in this message, to study what the scriptures teach concerning the unity and purity of the church.
