Jesus came to save us not from politics, enemies, challenges, or difficulties; but from our sin nature. God has plans for us. He is recruiting people for Himself, to populate heaven. God will restore all thing. He will make it perfect in spender and harmony. Heaven is perfect, we are by nature, not. God’s Kingdom is perfect, but His children are imperfect. Will He abandon us? No, because He loves us too much. He will simply make us perfect as heaven is perfect.
