The necessity of Scripture is being highlighted by presenting the factors that make it necessary which are 1) our sinful flesh; 2) our immediate environment and 3) the broader environment, that is the sinful society where we live.

Main Point: The doctrine of salvation through faith alone is the heart of the Christian gospel, and the Scriptures are the ultimate authority for telling us what we must believe and how we should live.

We are looking at Jesus' final warning and invitation to us in Revelations 22:12-21. Still, we are starting by looking at the invitation and warning God gave to the Israelite's in the old testament. We are looking at how God patiently warned the Israelite's, but they did not heed his word or take him seriously, so God followed through with his word of warning. Finally, we will consider what it looks like if we do not heed God's warning in Revelations 22. It should be fun!
