Matthew 2019-2020
Jason Stuart Percy • Refuge TLH • Sermon • • 24 views • 1:00:20
God always keeps His Word. He does everything He says He'll do. Those conforming to His Kingdom are learning to keep our Word. We shouldn't have to make promises because we ought to be known as those who do what we say we'll do. With men, this is impossible. But with God, all things are possible. He has removed our sin. He has purchased us for Himself and forgiven us and has promised us an unending life in His presence, though we deserve none of these things. May we be those who trust Him. He has proven that He is faithful and true. Recorded at Refuge TLH on Sunday, July 7, 2019.

Matthew - Masterclass
Pastor Dusty Mackintosh • Sermon • • 8 views
What do you do when someone doesn't believe you? You convince them, usually by appealing to something stronger or more trustworthy than you to support your argument... or punish you if you fall through on a promise. The 10 Commandments condemns using the name of God for such selfish human purposes (in vain). Jesus condemns all such verbal and personal manipulation. The righteous person is righteous and finds all worth and identity in God's opinion: the Audience of One. They are perfectly and infinitely secure... and so free from the endless scramble for worth and attention. Trust in the Lord, you have nothing to lose anymore, nothing to prove anymore.

The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But I’ve only ever once been called upon to be a witness in an actual court case, a contentious divorce proceeding (in which honestly, I was a terrible witness - I had nothing to testify to). But whole experience was fascinating, because of course, I had to take…

Have you ever been talking on the phone with someone and lost track of time? This doesn’t happen to me very often. I am usually acutely aware of time. But this happens to some people. My wife is one of them. This is not negative to my wife or anyone like her! I have her permission to tell this. Sometimes…

Heart Attack
Blake Prater • New Prospect Baptist Church • Sermon • • 7 views • 25:17
Bro Blake is in week 4 of the series of "Heart Attack" looking at Jesus' words on swearing better known understood as oaths. We need to let our "yes" be "yes" and our "no" "no". It never fails that when someone begins to add oaths or swearing to a statement their entire conversation goes into question. Let your integrity through Christ be your bond to the words you speak.

There is no audio only version, but you can watch it on our YouTube channel, https://youtu.be/XOfxbPMo0KA. In this message, James wants to see the lips and lives of his readers line up with the faith they claim to hold. As we allow James’ words to take a place of residence in our lives, we will become people of such integrity that we will be free to live lives of radical truthfulness.
