Star Power. What is it? It is that "it" factor that causes people to flock to the one who possesses Star Power. But who possessed Star Power in the Church of Corinth? Who are those possessing Star Power today, and why is it important we address it? Come with the Grace United crew as we talk about Star Power.

We know God that cares for us because... 1. He will give us the ultimate understanding (vs. 23a, 25). 2. He hears our cries for help (vs. 23b-24). 3. Jesus makes us friends with His Father (vs. 23-27). 4. Jesus came to die on the cross for us (vs. 28).

Those Greeks wanted to see the greatest thing anybody can ever see. They wanted to see Jesus! And God wants us to see some great things in their story: 1. The essential desires (vs. 17-22). 2. The essential deaths (vs. 23-25). 3. The essential devotion (vs. 26).

Magnify the cross of Jesus Christ... 1. Because it was God's perfect plan. 2. Because it confirms God's prophecies. 3. Because it is the greatest proof of God's love. 4. Because it is the source of our greatest peace.

When ungodly men judged God... 1. There was treachery (vs. 57, 59-61). 2. The charge was blasphemy (vs. 62-65). 3. The penalty was God's plan (vs. 66). 4. The cruelty was vicious (vs. 67-68). 5. The Lord's victory was sure to come (vs. 64).

Jesus spoke about: 1. The suffering that will come our way (vs. 1-4). 2. Our Savior going away (vs. 4-7). 3. Sending God's Spirit our way (vs. 7).

How much does God love us? 1. Enough to go through the greatest grief for us (vs. 27). 2. Enough to miraculously speak to us (vs. 28-30). 3. Enough to suffer and die on the cross for us (vs. 31-33). 4. Enough to miraculously draw us to Him (vs. 32).

What does the Lord's coming on Palm Sunday tell us about His coming to us? 1. He comes with the greatest humility (vs. 1-3). 2. He comes as the Prince of Peace (vs. 4-5). 3. He comes deserving our faithful service (vs. 6-7). 4. He comes worthy of our heartfelt worship (vs. 8-9).

1. We should cry out to the Lord. 2. We should come to the Lord. 3. We should count on the Lord. 4. We should continue with the Lord.

1. We can see the riches of God's glory... [1] in His love (vs. 1-5). [2] in His knowledge (vs. 3-4; 11-14). [3] in His mission (7-15). 2. How should we respond to the riches of God's glory? [1] By believing in Jesus Christ (vs. 14-15). [2] By staying close to our Savior (vs. 16).

How can we be better disciples? 1. Avoid distractions (vs. 17-21, 23). 2. Accept the difficulties of following Jesus (vs. 22-23). 3. Avoid pointless disputes (vs. 24). 4. Live with Christlike devotion (vs. 25-28).

1. We must say "no" to our selfishness. 2. We must carry our cross. 3. We must follow His footsteps.
