We should love Jesus enough: 1. To confess that He is our Lord (vs. 32-33). 2. To choose the Lord over our family (vs. 34-37). 3. To carry our cross for Him (vs. 38-39). 4. To be fully confident in Him (vs. 40-42).

The Lord wants us to: 1. Be aware of our adversaries (vs. 17-18, 21-22). 2. Count on Him when we have a crisis (vs. 19-20). 3. Know that His salvation is sure (vs. 22). 4. Carry on our work for Christ (vs. 23).

1. He calls us to His service (vs. 1a). 2. He equips us for His service (vs. 1b). 3. He wants us to reach our God-given potential (vs. 2-4). 4. He sends us to specific people (vs. 5-6). 5. He sends us with the good news of His Kingdom (vs. 7).

Jesus wants us... 1. To make His message our priority (vs. 5-8). 2. To trust in His ability (vs. 8-10). 3. To follow His plan for our service (vs. 11-13). 4. To recognize the danger of rejecting Him (vs. 14-15). 5. To walk in the wisdom of the Lord (vs. 16).

Jesus wants us to: 1. Strive to be like our Savior (vs. 24-25). 2. Focus on fearing the Lord (vs. 25-28). 3. Be encouraged by how much God treasures us (vs. 29-31). 4. Overcome our fears with faith (vs. 31). 5. Take a bold stand for our Savior (vs. 32-33).
