"Christ crucified". This is the heart of Paul's message. But what a message! "Christ crucified" really is the dividing line. It reveals the human heart and its orientation toward reality--life itself. "Christ crucified" tells us whether we live under an "Ecclesiastes Cloud"--where life is meaningless, or do we live in God's reality--that the world is his and all who dwell therein. "God's fools." This is what Paul actually called himself and his fellow leaders whom God used to build the church in Corinth. What does it mean to be God's fool? As a Christian, why would one even desire to to label himself or herself in this way? It's been said, "Paul was a fool for Christ. Whose fool are you?"
