Cole is a high school student and a member of Living Grace Lutheran Church that meets in Urbana High School in Ijamsville, Maryland (Frederick County). Cole attended the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Youth Gathering in Houston , TX, in June/July 2018. He travelled with the youth of Good Shepherd Lutheran in Frederick, Maryland; both congregations are member congregations of the Delaware-Maryland Synod of the ELCA.
