The Good Place... Or is it?
Alexander Lundbohm (Zeek) • Sermon • • 9 views
The Good place is individualistic- you can spend as many “Jeremy Berimys” learning everything there is to know but as long as eternity is “you” focused it will never be the good place. Eventually you will always get bored and you will want out. Just like the characters in the show.. That is why immortality is often seen as a curse in the media. What makes Heaven so different is that it has nothing to do with you or me. It is all about Christ. It is all about worshipping Jesus forever and that will never get old. When we take the focus off of ourselves and put it on Jesus that is when we will be most content. No amount of learning, experiencing, or fun will ever stack up to an eternity in the Presence of Jesus.

Pastor Charlie Bell • Sermon • • 0 views
Every human being has some innate knowledge of good and evil. The full knowledge of good and evil derives from God and is revealed in Scripture. The human desire of Adam and Eve to know good and evil, and thus gain independence from God, brought about the fall.

The significance of trees in biblical narratives
Jason A. Smith • Sermon • • 434 views
I would like to suggest that the gospel of Jesus Christ should be something that is so engrained into us that, just as the Prophet Jeremiah, we should not be able to keep the word of God within us. We need to make the gospel a part of us. It needs to be the driving force of our lives. It is such a simple…
The Tree of Life
In this third message in the series, pastor Nick goes into the Scriptures to look into the Tree of Knowledge, good and bad. In Scripture’s terms- deciding for autonomy ahead of God’s way of living is how humanity self-destructs or sentences themselves to die. Why is this presented as a tree of knowledge? What was so attractive about it that it was able to hold captive the human imagination to such a degree, especially over God’s life? #ohcrc #ilovemychurch #treeoflife
