Have you trusted, personally, God’s remedy for your individual sin? are you covered by the righteousness of Christ, your sinless substitute sacrifice?
As the first day of our European Championships cycling events draws to a close, Alastair speaks about Zacchaeus and Bartimaeus and how Jesus saw them through the crowds and helped both of them to really see.

The Way of the Tree of Life is open to those who would hunger and thirst after righteousness, there is sweet nourishment to be received from Jesus’ hand for those who repent and turn to Him!

We excercise judgement about many things every day. Jesus asks us to be wise in judgement and not to simply judge the outside or cursory things. We need wisdom and we need to be asking, seeking, and knocking that we might know how to treat others the way we want to be treated. It is possible to be decieved and so good judgement is of vital importance seeing that Jesus' way is narrow and there are few who find it. LORD, give us wisdom. Help us to be merciful to others. Help us to love each other enough to hold each other accountable with mercy and grace and love. Recorded at Refuge TLH on Sunday, August 5, 2019.
4 These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created. In the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, 5 when no plant of the field was yet in the earth and no herb of the field had yet sprung up—for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there…

The significance of trees in biblical narratives
This Eighth Sunday after Trinity marks the beginning of the third year since God placed me here to be your pastor. It is fitting that the text for this occasion should begin with Jesus’ warning: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will…

Pastor Josh examines Revelation 11, and finds many connections between it and Psalms 1 and 2. Both Psalms make references to the life and ministry of Jesus, focusing on the crucifixion. Revelation 11 mirrors the events and warnings predicted in Psalms 1 and 2. Our sins put Jesus on the cross, but He is willing to make peace with us if we submit to Him and "kiss the Son". If we don't, we will perish. We're either a tree, or we're chaff. All men are sinners, and Christ has come to save sinners!

Learning To Read Scripture As Storied: The Book of Genesis
With the fall of the Tower of Babel (fall of Babylon), the Ancient Near East found itself in chaos & disorder as trade routes ceased & various wars, battles, & skirmishes arose along with famines, resulting in the people being scattered over all the earth. The whole world in defiant rebellion had made war with God & turned toward other gods. However, God has a plan to draw the nations to Himself with the call of Abram as He reveals Himself to Abram by the Trees of Seeing & to undue the curse.
Pastor Josh delves into the background behind the events of Revelation 9:1-12... scorpion-locusts, a watery abyss, the release of demons upon the world. There's a lot of evil coming in Revelation 9! It is our job as believers to read the Word of God, and to warn people of the coming wrath.

By Pastor Glenn Pease Back in October of 1948, a young pastor and his wife took on the challenge of repairing and restoring an old church. Their goal was to have it done by Christmas Eve. But just two days before Christmas a storm dumped over an inch of rain, and the roof leaked, and right in front of…
