What are the things you long for? 1 How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! 2 My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord ; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. 3 Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your…

Psalms equips us to walk the way of life through praise and lament. What way are you walking? What way do want to walk? 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord , and…

Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus promised His disciples He would not leave them orphans. He promised the Holy Spirit owuld come too them and He encouraged them to remain attached to Him that they would bear much fruit. This fruit bearing would bring glory to God. Jesus promised peace unlike anything they would receive from the unbelieving world. Jesus promised the world would hate them just as the world hated Him. These truths delivered just before Jesus left the disciples would become strength and encouragement and joy to help them endure the difficulty they would face with Him gone. Jesus is always enough for us. Let us move no further. Let us remain with Him. Abide in Him. Abide in His words. These thoughts shared by Jason Stuart Percy at Refuge TLH in Tallahassee, FL on Sunday, February 20, 2022.

Matthew 7:13-14 Having reached the epic climax of his sermon, Jesus now puts the choices before his disciples: two ways, two fruits, two declarations, two builders. Jesus does not explain here everything about salvation and sanctification. He is clear: it is exclusive and it is hard. The easiest, most…

This lesson looks at more teachings from Jesus during the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus taught about how to judge others, how to ask God for things, how to treat others, which gate to enter in, and what those who hear and do what Jesus says are like.
John 2021-2022

'Anyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?, ' Jesus asked. Jesus teaches us that the dead aren't actually dead. They may have left their bodies, but they aren't dead. He restored Lazarus as evidence of this fact. We must decide in whom we will place our trust. We live in a world with many who only trust what they've experienced with their own senses. Jesus has asked us to believe Him, not to deny the experiences of our senses and their reality, rather to acknowledge that our senses may not be receptive of all that exists. There is more and we are challenged to believe the Word of the One who knows and promises that there is more. In Lazarus' resurrection, Jesus shows that those whose bodies have died are themselves not dead. There is a coming resurrection, some will be raised to eternal life and joy and others to eternal contempt and shame. These thoughts shared by Jason Stuart Percy at Refuge TLH in Tallahassee, FL on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father…

John 14:1-6 “Don’t be so heavenly-minded that you are no earthly good.” I’ve heard this saying many times. But is this what the Bible teaches about how we ought to live? Does the Bible warn us against being so heavenly-minded that we are no earthly good? No. In fact, it teaches exactly the opposite.…
