Women In The Bible
Trent Johnson • Hope Christian Church • Sermon • • 26 views • 33:45
Is God a woman? Is God a man? Or is that the wrong question? In today's sermon we discuss how God often chooses to be described as both Father and Mother, using imagery of a man and a woman. As well, we'll talk about how important it is to understand the fullness of seeing God as both male and female.

Women Of The Bible
Trent Johnson • Hope Christian Church • Sermon • • 13 views • 29:12
As we move through the women of the bible, we continue to talk about Eve. Eve who ate of the fruit, who brought sin into the world with her husband; Eve the sinner. However, in all the pain, suffering, conflict brought to men, women and the earth, we also find a sliver of hope. Hope in Eve as the mother of humanity, hope in the prophecy of the birth of Jesus and his death and resurection.

Have you ever wondered how you could change the world? Some think changing the world only comes through politics while others believe it comes through religious devotion. Pastor Barry walks us through the encounter Jesus had with the Samaritan woman. Notice how Jesus engages with this woman, tells her the truth and points to the way. Simple conversations have the ability to change peoples' lives if we would slow down and pay attention.

Mark 5:21-43
There are many inconveniences in life. Some more frustrating than others. Looking at Mark 5 we see some of life's inconveniences, but we also see Jesus conveniently working through those inconveniences to produce stronger character, stronger faith, stronger Christians.

John 2021-2022
Jason Stuart Percy • Refuge TLH • Sermon • • 7 views • 1:14:21
It's okay to be sad. Jesus and His Kingdom message are true even if you don't feel anything. Jesus speaks the truth without all the modern hype. We're deceived by trying to live from dopamine rush to dopamine rush and calling that 'spiritual life'. The Father is seeking those who will worhip Him in Spirit and truth. Worship is not a type of song. It is not necessarily singing songs at all. Workship is bowing yourself down to something. Bowing down, in your heart, to someone or something, is workship. Jesus is able to save the sick, yes, but when should He stop? When would it be okay for Him to let someone you love die. Does death matter? Does life matter? If there is eternal life, if there is resurrection, then it matters more than we seem to think. These thoughts shared by Jason Stuart Percy at Refuge TLH in Tallahassee, FL on Sunday, November 28, 2021.

Scenes from Revelation
Rev. David Seabaugh • Immanuel Lutheran Church and School • Sermon • • 25 views • 25:36
In this week's sermon in our ongoing series " Scenes from Revelation", we see how we the church and each of its individual members, are part of this epic story, God's story, being worked out here on earth. In this part of Revelation we see Satan pictured as a dragon that wants to devour a woman who represents the church. And Satan stands before God accusing us of all our sins, but he does not succeed. On our behalf, Jesus the sacrificial lamb has already taken the punishment, and God wins! And we share that victory. Will Satan continue to cause us trouble here on earth, yes. But will he succeed in devouring the church? NO! And so we are reassured and we stand together, support and encourage one another as we do battle together.

By Pastor Glenn Pease It is hard to believe, but one man determined how we as Americans pronounce and spell words.
