John 15:1-8 Jesus is the vine we are the branches . If we are anchored in Jesus we will grow and bear fruit. Are you abiding in him and bearing fruit?

The fruitful life is one where we abide in Christ, it is not perfection but a life of growth as we rely on God to transform us.

Hear God's instruction from the book of John about living daily with God in faith and prayer.

Christ's Triumphal Entry was the formal offering of himself, laying down His life for His friends. Through abiding in Him, we are called to an ultimate act of love for the brethren. We abide by reading, reflecting, discussing and listening to His Word. We abide by coming to Him in prayer and we ask for strength to be faithful. Abiding in Him is the path to joy.

God has given us a promise of eternal life. We can have assurance of our eternal destiny based on this promise from God. When we have assurance of our salvation we can live life without fear or dread and love and serve God.

We can look all over this world for peace. But the only source of Peace is Jesus Christ. He is our peace with one another, He is our Peace with God. When we are not walking in, abiding in Christ, we cannot have peace.

No one can save themselves, only by God's grace, his unmerited favor, can anyone be saved. Only through faith in Jesus Christ can we enter into God's grace and be saved to eternal life.

Some folks live life right on the edge of sin, not understanding that we are called to sin less. We need to understand that God desires that we live according to His Word and His will and that when we do this we can know we are in fellowship with Him.

Salvation is an amazing thing, God in His great love provided a way for us to enter into an eternal relationship with him. But God has called us to more than just getting into Heaven, He wants us to grow as Christians to walk with Christ, to abide in Him. As children of God, we need to continue to grow as we serve God and love others.

God wants us to serve Him to be able to do this we have to abide in Jesus Christ. We do not have the power to do anything for God if we are not abiding in Christ. Jesus says; "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."

If we want to walk with God there are some instructions we need to follow. One of those instructions is found in First John 2:15-24, "Do not Love the World, nor the things in the World." This means not sacrficing for, not serving the things of the world but serving God.
