Philippians 2:12-18 The work of a Christian is not limited to simply sharing the gospel. There is very serious work to be done in the Christian's life to develop into the person God wants us to be, so as to have a greater relationship with Him and better serve Him.

Philippians 1:12-26 Serving God and advancing the gospel will always cost something. In Philippians we see three things that advancing the gospel may cost us, but keeping in mind it will be worth it.

Like John the Baptist, growing in the things of God to faithfully advance the kindom of God, and become colaborers with Jesus Christ.
