Review In Daniel 6:10-14 , we learned that no matter our season of life, God never stops testing our consecration. By this time, Daniel may have been 80-90 years old, but still, his faithfulness in prayer and his faithfulness to the Lord was going to face a severe test. Daniel’s enemies set a trap and…

In a political uncertainty world, it is easy to become frustrated and upset when life is not going our way. These occurrences happen to everyone, including King Belshazzar, who has witnessed a terrifying image such as human handwriting on the wall that spells his kingdom's end. Only Daniel can interpret what God has written. In the end, Belshazzar idolatry and pride cuts short his kingdom reign. The only certainty God's people can have is Jesus is control of every circumstance, even the fall, and rise of earthly kingdoms. We learn from Belshazzar to turn away from idolatry and worship the only king who lives forever.

His Kingdom Come
Austin Keller • Ubly Christian Church • Sermon • • 125 views • 39:28
The Christian journey is a life full of blessings, glory, and greatness that falls down heaven and lands on God's people. In the fourth chapter of Daniel, we come across a powerful king, King Nebuchadnezzar, who once praises God, but then later steals God's divine glory by claiming his greatness. The story takes a turn for the worse for the king. He is subjected to living outside of the kingdom as a wild animal until he recognizes who gave him his glory, greatness, and blessings. We learn that all glory, power, and dominion belong to God, and only through humbling ourselves, we shine in God's great glory in this world and the world to come.
