Jesus corrects those trying to find a loophole in the law of the Old Testament. And in doing so, he shows us the true nature of love. Love must extend to those outside of your group, outside of those you naturally have affection for, even to those who hate you and persecute you. In doing do, Jesus points us towards our perfect heavenly father who first loved us while we were his enemies.

1 Peter 5:8-11 We must aware and on guard from attacks from the enemy. We must be diligent and situationally aware at all times. We do this by being in God's word daily, praying ceaselessly, and recognizing the devil's decptive ways. We always have victory in Jesus! For that we give him praise.
