The Lord's Supper is regularly served in millions of churches all over the world. Followers of Jesus remember what he has done and just as importantly, who he is. But who is he? What is the extent of his salvation ministry? Scripture tells us that Christ died for the sins of the whole world. He as the Lamb of God has taken away the sin of the world. What does that really mean? When Jesus had his last meal with his men before he went to the cross, he established the New Covenant--the fulfillment of what the Prophet Jeremiah predicted. Gloriously, Jesus gave his people 2 things: Soul rest and soul freedom. What are these amazing things? In our culture there are teachings of spiritual guides, angelic beings leading humans, and even the idea of God saving demons and the devil. What does God's Word say about about the spiritual beings who rebel against God? What about teachings that people become angels when they die?
