As Believers in Jesus, we should be free and experience the fruit of the spirit, but why are we not experiencing the fullness of God's joy? What is in the way of our experiencing joy? We have the truth. We know what the right things are, but why are we not more like Jesus? We will discover what joy is and how to experience joy even in the midst of fear, pain, trials and hardships. This sermon series is based on the work by Dr. Jim Wilder who has written extensively on this subject.

In this series, Dr. Mercury Thomas-Ha addresses the climate we live in and the season of deception. While religious organizations may be disarmed and people are discouraged, Believers are summoned not to be despondent, but "Train Yourself 2B Godly".

Do we really know what we believe in as Christians? Can we answer basic questions about God, Jesus, the Bible or why we believe? Why is it we sometimes just stop learning about our Christian Faith and Jesus? Why is discipleship so important? Why is it so easy to fade from seeking God and His Truth. What is the danger of not studying? Are you able to stand when someone who has studied why they do not believe in the Bible or God? Pastor Clay teaches with Scriptures how to overcome doubt and complacency in your spiritual walk so you are able to stand regardless what is thrown your way.

The following sermon is going to examine Philippians 3:15 and in doing show that spiritual maturity is possible for those who deny self and relentlessly pursue He who is the definer and source of all holiness!

Who wants to have Christ spit their church out of His mouth because her members refused to grow up in the faith? Paul outlined five pillars for a church to become spiritually mature. Please listen to this sermon to find out what these pillars entail and take the message back to your churches!

The text provides an in-depth exploration of Hebrews 5, focusing on the qualifications and functions of the high priest in the Old Covenant and how Jesus Christ perfectly fulfills this role, while emphasizing the need for spiritual maturity in believers.

Hebrews 6 serves as a comprehensive guide for believers, urging them toward spiritual maturity by balancing severe warnings against apostasy with reassurances anchored in God's immutable promises, all while pointing to the ultimate fulfillment in Christ Jesus.

From His birth, Jesus was willing to be made low for the good of others. Yet when He died, He took His place next to the Father because He was worthy! Like Christ, we gain spiritual strength when we respond with gentleness and lowliness of heart, taking care not to offend our weaker brothers and sisters in matters that may cause them to stumble. This is a sign of spiritual maturity.

In protecting the one sheep while leaving the 99, Jesus provides more security for all 100! He'll also give up His rights to benefit His weaker brothers. We too should turn the other cheek when needed, for the benefit of the Kingdom. And if we are weak in one area, we should not impose our personal restrictions on our stronger brothers, but rather seek spiritual growth and maturity in that area. As Christians, we are continually called to mature in the faith, and to help each other grow.

Today, we complete this crucial paragraph. Paul reiterates the themes of vv 11-14, yet clarifies and develops them further. We must aspire toward maturity as a church. Paul still has his attention on church maturity. Twice in these two verses Paul speaks of the church growing. Several themes about our maturity are developed in these verses.
