Father’s Day

Look, children are the heritage of Yahweh; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them. They shall not be put to shame when they speak with enemies at the gate. Read Psalm 127:3–5

Look! I am going to send to you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of Yahweh! And he will bring back the hearts of the fathers to the sons, and the hearts of the sons to their fathers, so that I will not come and strike the land with a ban.” Read Malachi 4:5–6

And one of the rulers of the synagogue came—Jairus by name—and when he saw him, he fell down at his feet. And he was imploring him many times, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death! Come, lay your hands on her, so that she will get well and will live.” Read Mark 5:22–23

And fathers, do not make your children angry, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Read Ephesians 6:4
