Create small groups that meet once a week to discuss what the participants have read and studied.

Create a prayer journal. Writing down people and activities that we need to be praying for, goals that we would like to reach, sins we need to avoid, and sins we need to confess. (Open up to talk about anything written in the journals) (Take participants to town to pick out journals)

Brainstorm outreach/mission activities for the group

Create outing activities

Put books, simple reads, in the hands of parents.

Hold parent meetings encouraging them to pour into their children on a regular basis

Create discussion questions for the lessons that are given on Wednesday night

Outreach Ideas

Create a newsletter with a description of what the youth groups motive is, a map of future lessons, the months events that are planned, and activities for families. (Dinners, Pigfest, 5th Sunday)

Have a parents dinner where parents of the youth group are invited to dine. I will give a quick run down of our goals, give an over arching description of our activities, the churches activities, organizations within the church (Prime-timers ect.) and invite to Sunday
