1-THE NECESSITY FOR GOD TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO US

THE ONLY WAY WE CAN KNOW GOD IS FOR HIM TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO US
PAUL EVEN SAYS THAT IT IS PLAIN TO PEOPLE BECAUSE GOD SHOWED IT TO THEM
Romans 1:19 ESV
19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
IN KNOWING GOD THROUGH SALVATION JESUS SAYS
Matthew 11:27 ESV
27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
THIS KIND OF KNOWLEDGE IS NOT DERIVED THROUGH HUMAN EFFORT
1 Corinthians 2:14 ESV
14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
2 Corinthians 4:3–4 ESV
3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
THE WAY SINFULL PEOPLE INTERPRETE THE REVELATION OF GOD FOUND IN NATURE THOSE WHOM BY THEIT WICKEDNESS SUPRESS THE TRUTH ABLOUT GOD.
Romans 1:18 ESV
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

2- WE CAN NEVER FULLY UNDERSTAND GOD

BECAUSE GOD IS INFINITE AND WE ARE FINITE WE CAN NEVER FULLY UNDERSTAND GOD.
Psalm 145:3 ESV
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
1 Corinthians 2:10–12 ESV
10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.
Romans 11:33 ESV
33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

3-YET WE CAN KNOW GOD TRULY

EVEN THOUGH WE CANNOR KNOW GOD EXHAUSTIVLY WE CAN KNOW TRUE THINGS ABOUT GOD.
1 John 4:8 ESV
8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 1:5 ESV
5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
John 4:24 ESV
24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Romans 3:26 ESV
26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Jeremiah 9:23–24 ESV
23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”
