Come, let’s sing to Adonai!
Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation!
Let’s come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let’s shout for joy to him with songs of praise.
For Adonai is a great God,
a great king greater than all gods.
He holds the depths of the earth in his hands;
the mountain peaks too belong to him.
The sea is his—he made it—
and his hands shaped the dry land.
Come, let’s bow down and worship;
let’s kneel before Adonai who made us.
For he is our God, and we are the people
in his pasture, the sheep in his care.
If only today you would listen to his voice:
Praise Jb 38:7; Ps 81:1; 98:4, 6
Thankfulness Ps 100:4; Jnh 2:9
Adoration Dt 10:17; Ps 47:2; 96:4
Maker of all - including us Gn 1:9–10; Ps 146:6; Jnh 1:9
Reverence attitude Ps 96:9; 100:3; Is 17:7
Acknowledgement
We are his Psalm 23
Then we, Your people, the sheep of Your pasture,
will thank You forever;
we will declare Your praise
to generation after generation.
