Do not faint

27  Why do you say, O Jacob,

and speak, O Israel,

“My way is hidden from the LORD,

and my right is disregarded by my God”?

This is often the thought of the non-believer. My ways are not known by a higher being. The message today is about what you should know.

28  Have you not known? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God,

We often times do not recognize just how great God is in the range of our lives.

the Creator of the ends of the earth.

He does not faint or grow weary;

his understanding is unsearchable.

Perhaps unless you have been made to stumble we often times do not reach out to a higher power for strength. Self-sufficiency can be a curse. As I talked to family and read through the materials describing Randee I noticed how strong she was.
29  He gives power to the faint,
and to him who has no might he increases strength.
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles, 2016), Is 40:29.
The strong say, I don’t need help, I can do this, I will do this. What I know is that all will fall faint. 30  Even youths shall faint and be weary,
and young men shall fall exhausted;
The Holy Bible: English Standard Version (Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles, 2016), Is 40:30.
What do we do when we see that we have grown weary? We look to the Lord who strengthens us. Perhaps that is us today as we celebrate the life of this fine lady.

31  but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings like eagles;

they shall run and not be weary;

they shall walk and not faint.
