The Trinity

When we think of the Holy Spirit we generally think of a single person. However The Holy Spirit is 1 of the 3 persons that are our 1 God. The three person are refered to as the Trinity. You will not see the word Trinity in the Bible. It is a term coined in the 1800s to represent the 3 person, Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit.
You may have heard of the term 1 =3
The 1 is God — The 3 is the Trinity
Thus everytime we reference God we are referring to the Trinity.
When I first realized that God was 3 persons and 1 of them was the Holy Spirit, I was doubtful. In all the books or referances I have read, not one of them talked about this or made this statement. However, the more I searched the Holy Spirit, the more I accepted its creditablity.
Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God (Father, Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) created the heavens and the earth.”
Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (God).
16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
(Mt 3:16–17). (2011). Zondervan.
