Philippians 4

Do you have your Bible start with me this morning to Philippians, chapter 4, will be looking into the last chapter of Philippians next week. We'll begin the book of Colossians and get through that and see what God has in-store. As Paul has written to these churches, encouraging them. The main thing that we have and all of this is Unity, the importance of unity. I think we know that. I think we know that more today than probably we've ever known at how important Unity is when it comes to families when it comes to work when it comes to whatever situation we are in and especially when it comes to churches, churches have a lot of different ideas and different thoughts from people that come into it. But our main idea mean thought to be that of what the word of God tells us in the direction that that takes us in. Today in chapter 4, we're going to see that crisis. The means of our ministry. Chapter one. If you, if we go back we look at the message of our miniature was found in chapter one. That's the gospel of Christ chapter 2, the model of our ministry was the example of Christ in chapter 3. In the motive of our ministry is the reward of Christ. The things that he does for us through his life-giving experience on the cross for you. And for me, we don't have eternal life just because Jesus died on the cross. That would be too simple. Wouldn't it? We have eternal life because we believe that Jesus died on the cross, and that he rose again. That's where it comes in because if he is not a risen savior, we have no hope. If he is not a risen savior, there is no true. Peace in this world and we just continue on in the trials and tribulations that are before. So today, as we look in chapter 4, we see the means of our ministry and that is their provision of Christ. Can you look in your life? And see where God has provided things for you. In fact, can you look at your life and see where God has provided all things for you? Because without him we would have nothing without him. There is nothing for us to be had of any means or any purpose. Today as we look and verses 1 through verse. Why we see that he provides Unity when we disagree with other Christians. Now I know there is no Christians here in this service that disagree with one another. That's all the 8:30 people that were here. They needed to hear this message. So just bear with me as I share that with you this morning and just think of them, if you will write those people at the 8:30 service, just be glad you weren't here for the 8:30 service cuz I blame you guys for the, you know, how that works? Are we doing the unity thing? The way that we should? We think our way is always right. Can I get an amen? The only one who's always right. Is God, right? It's always working together. Even if what you think is not wrong. Somebody else may not think that way and they're thinking may not be wrong either. It depends on the pants that were on and how do we work through that? Know, if you're in a house and you're thinking your husband and wife and you thinking you want to paint the house, you need to come together on a color scheme. Otherwise it's going to be a mess, right? If one likes hot pink, the other likes a fuchsia color. I guess it can work depending on how you figure it out but Norm you can figure that all no Norms is green. Is that say There You Go zombie. I heard that you didn't use your thought of but I heard it out loud.

Unity is important. So in person 1245, he provides Unity. When we disagree with other fellow Christians, how does he do that? Well, isn't what he says, therefore, my beloved and long for my brother and my joy and Crown. How exciting is that? You would be saying to him. He said he knew the people. Hey, you're you're my beloved. You're my long for brother. I miss you, you're my joy and my crown. So Stand Fast in your own ways in your own once. That's not what he says, right? So, Stand Fast, we're in the Lord. I employee odni employees into Chief to be of the same mind in the Lord. And I heard you also True Companion. Help these women who labored with me in the gospel with Clement off. When the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the Book of Life rejoice in the lord always. And again I say rejoice, he sells us. That twice that's important. Are you rejoicing in the Lord today? Are you rejoicing? And what he is allowed to come into your life rejoice in the lord. Always, again, I say rejoice, let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord Is that hand? Paul is sharing with these people said, Hey listen, I love you guys. You're, you're important to me. We, we can't do this ministry without you, and if that and increase the other, we can't really do the ministry without one another either. Yes, we can do it with Christ. I can do all things through Christ. Who strengthens me? We'll see that. But we need one another A man. Don't you need, thanks Frank. I love you brother. Who don't we need? Who is it? That we say, hey, I don't want them to be a part of my Ministry are are apart of this. I don't want them to be in heaven with me. You believe some people would say that Now, there are some people that I think we could say there's no way they're going to make it to heaven.

But that shouldn't be our hope for them, Our Hope for them is that whoever will may come. That's what Jesus said to you and to me, what hope did we have before he enlightened us to his ways to his path. Joey provides Unity. When we disagree with fellow Christians and Ephesians. 4:26, he says be angry and sin, not do not let the sun go down upon your wrath. That's very important, especially in husband-wife, relationship.

Never go to bed. Mad against your spouse. When you wake up in the morning, how do you feel? Come on. I know two of you have done it. You're mad right cuz you didn't take care of that problem the night before. This is what he saying. I used to think it was a bad thing when when I would go to bed at night and and I am reading my Bible late at night laying in bed. And I fall asleep, read my Bible. And I wake up in the morning, in the Bible's, on my chest, or maybe under my pillow, depending on how much I tossed in the night, right? But the Bible is there, and I feel guilty that I didn't finish or are maybe I'm praying, while I'm laying in bed and I never finish my prayer. But in the morning when I wake up, you know what I'm thinking of I'm thinking of what I was reading the night before, I'm thinking of my prayer that I never finished. So then you can finish it on the other when my wife is mad at me. Never happens in my she doesn't get mad at me know, I'm right. And I'm mad at her go to bed that way, which we don't, but I'm just using it cuz I know it doesn't happen in your life. It's a 8:30 people. Will you wake up in the morning? You're still mad. That's the way the devil wants it. Do not. Let the sun go down on your wrath. If you got an issue with somebody. If you got a situation you need to deal with it today. Not tomorrow, not later today. If it's 4:30 once and let all bitterness rage and anger clamor evil. Speaking be put away from you with all malice. Kill it, be done with it, remove it, and potato that evil speaking everyday, that anger that wrap that bitterness at clamor, get rid of it with all Mouse. Remove that. Let it be removed from you because that's the devil's workshop. If he can get us mad at each other, we don't we're not fighting him. We're fighting each other to the churches. He's been writing to Galatians Ephesians Philippians. The Church of Glacier. The Church of Ephesus Church of Philip I hear. Listen guys, let's work together to get the cause of Christ out there.

He wants us to understand that the means of our ministry is what Christ has given for us. Cuz listen, if we're here this morning, and we are a part of the body of Christ within, and if you're a Believer, you're part of the body cuz we're all part of one body. And here's my stupid stub, your toe illustration. If you stop your little pinky toe, it affects the rest of the body. Doesn't not. Because you're dancing around screaming and hollering and try not to say something probably shouldn't say cuz that hurt and who put that chair there? Or that Lego, who left that Lego? Under the floor there and I stepped on there. Be angry, send, not let all bitterness and wrath be put away with malice and verses 6 through verse 9. He said he provides peace when we're all prone to worry, anybody here. That's prone to worry. You worry a lot. There's a lot to worry about today, right? It's not say that we shouldn't be concerned, not to say that we shouldn't have some more reason our life, but we shouldn't keep those. Where are you? We need to give those worries to God. We need to allow him to to take him because he provides Peace. During those signs over six. Look what he says be anxious for nothing. But in everything by prayer and supplication, let your requests be known right by prayer. And supplication with Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God hears. A problem. God wants us to think him even before we get the answer.

How do you do that? Because if he is God, and I believe he is. And if he's got all things figured out and I believe he does, then when we give to him, I will be done. We ought to be thinking. He'll K God, thank you that your will is going to be done, not mine. But how many of us think that our will is probably the right way? Call. We try to manipulate maneuver God's will to our way, and it doesn't work very well. We see all throughout the Bible that others have tried to Abraham try to do that and God giving him a promise at 8. You're going to have a son is named going to be Isaac. Well no he didn't come in times of pee. Let's go have a child with the pay cards. Handmade handmade Hagar and his name is Neil. Well, how'd that work out? Ishmael and Isaac, they're still battling today.

Look in the Middle East. You see how that works out? Cuz God said of the family and they will be Fighters all their life. Still going on those fights in the Middle East. Don't just affect the people in the Middle East. Do they, they affect others other countries.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, we don't get it. We don't understand it. That makes sense. But the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and Minds through Christ Jesus. So I'm thanking God for answered prayer. His will be done, not mine. Okay. Thank you for that guy, I guess, right. That's the way we your will. We got to let God do his thing. And when we do that, then the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts. And guard our minds. What is some of the things we worry about? Somebody wants said, 90% of the things we worry about. Never come to pass. Wasting our time worrying about things that are never going to happen. God's got it. A man might not go the way you wanted to go but God's got it. He's got it all under control. If he is God Mercedes finally brethren. Whatever things are true, whatever things are normal, whatever things are lovely, or are pure, and just whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of, good report. If there's any virtue, if there's anything praiseworthy, meditate on those things,

Turn the news on. You get a lot of good stuff, right? Very seldom. Do we get good stuff? Anymore is all the evil. What's going on around us? Somebody getting shot here. Somebody getting run over here. Something happen to somebody here. This person molesting this person. It just

That's the world we live in sadly and if we get bombarded with that all the time and we allowed that to overcome us, we can get brought down. But what is he saying? Is it listen? Folks, okay, these folks didn't have social media. They didn't have television to turn on. They just saw what was going on around them and hearing what was happening word-of-mouth, anything, listen whatever things are noble. And there are noble things out there. Whatever things are just in, there are just things out there, whatever things are pure, whatever they use our lovely, whatever things are of good report if there is any virtue. And if there's anything praiseworthy, Seek him out meditate on those things. Think about those things, the good things because evil is going to be around us. And when we do that, when you meditate up on these things, God will bless.

Not evil in this world is enough evil around us that we you and I do not need to bring it on to those around us.

Soccer game. Varsity soccer game last night. Couple of parents got into it at the end of the game.

I can't tell you some of the words that were used in public.

You heard them? But it's just like a sad. Just a wife in every game. There's going to be a winner and there's going to be a loser most generally, right? So that happened in double overtime. There was a winner. And there was a loser. therefore, and I'm not doing this to be you. Rude to a gender. What do moms got into it? About their children on a Posey.

One of our elders would have walked over. Just want to appease a situation, right? And I do need a backup.

I didn't know either one of the families. He Aaron strauser Manu, the one family. So he sort of buffer, the situation calmed down separated, separated the women. They're still spewing, they're still going as they're walking off the platform or off of the the bleachers. There's

A soccer game. No money involved.

write a little pride, may be involved for the winners and the losers, but then, the parents get involved in it and

same thing happens in churches, did you know that?

Your choice, your child.

Whatever things are lovely. Whatever things are pure. Whatever things are of good report if there's any virtue and if there's anything praiseworthy meditate on the evils going to take care of itself, going to be there, going to get you down and he says the first time the things with you, I've learned the things which you have received and heard and saw and me these do and the God of Peace. If you do these things to the God of Peace will be with you. What did Jesus say in John 14:27? When he's leaving the disciples mihai, he's going to have to be crucified. They're going to come after him that there been after him his whole life. Now he's little play. The time is now they're going to come and get me but he said, Hey, listen. Listen, folks, peace! I leave with you. My peace, I give to you, not the Peace of the world, that's messed up my words, but it's true. The Peace of the world, not the Peace of the world. Get high on to let, not your heart, be troubled. Neither, Let It Be Afraid. Yes, evil times are coming is what he was really saying. Yes. Tough time to going to be ahead of you and you're going to have to go out and carry on the ministry that we begin here together, guys. You're going to have to do it, but meditate on the good things, not the bad things, preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus in the Bible, lifted up. I will draw all men to myself. Men, he-men means mankind. Peace the things. Which you have learned that things with you and appreciate the things. What you have saw in me doing, can we say that to her family's As leaders in our home. Can we say that to our children are the things that you have seen the things that you have heard the learn'd? It's in scene for me, do those things? Yes. We're at we all mess up sometimes. We all made do things. We wish we had enough. Don. But I guarantee you, if we strive to meditate on the good things that we strive to meditate on the word of God, on the positive things that God has for us, seeing others around us through his eyes. Not the worldly eyes. Cuz when Jesus Christ, look down onto the world on that cross. He saw everyone, he loves and who does he love? Or John 3:16 tells that for God? So, loved the world doesn't leave anybody out. He loved the world so much that he gave his life that whosoever believeth in him. Should not perish but have everlasting life. More than I had knowledge cuz the devil devil and his angels believe. We know where they're going to end up, got to have that acceptance, making him your lord, and your savior following through with that. He provides peace. When we are prone to worry about, you thankful for that. If we pray, as we ought to pray and we think as we ought to think the peace of God will guard us. And the God of Peace. Will go with us. Proverbs 3:5, number 6, you know what it says, right? Trust in the Lord, with a little bit of your heart? Lee, not The Godly understand, that's not what it says. It says trust in the Lord, with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways in everything you do acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path. I'm thankful for that. I'm thankful that God gives us Direction. I'm thankful that he helps us and provides peace and in the midst of trial and tribulation when heartache and hardships, we don't get through it very easily sometimes. But when we stop is, okay, God. Not my will. Find me, Don you guide you direct and when we say that, guess what? We need to do next. We need to start following his path.

Every now and then when I I'm going somewhere else, I'll plug into my phone. My GPS. So it can tell me what direction I need to go. My GPS is a little bit smarter than me sometimes. I call my GPS. Bonnie, just so you know. Bonnie and Clyde, get it. We're on a mission together.

but sometimes, Bonnie will tell me when there's congestion on the roadway. And sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes the information hasn't caught up to bond, but she'll tell her this way is through in this way, is 8 minutes slower. So, I strive, if I don't know exactly where I'm going ice, tried to listen to Bonnie, to get me where I need to be, and sometimes in the midst of that travel, I get very frustrated with Bonnie. Because there are people in the road that she didn't know was there. Right. Slowing things down, do anything. Maybe they shouldn't be do it. Get off the road. Remember mr. Magoo how many you guys remember, mr. Miguel

I love that guy.

Get out of my way. People slow you down. But then you get up the road, a ways you find out there was an accident and you're thankful that you got slowed down a man. God's got it, figured out and even when you and I don't even Bonnie, the GPS doesn't So sometimes we just need to. Stop. And all the time. We need to trust God to guide us and direct us in the path to get us where we need to be verses 10 through verse 13 and tells us that he provides the power. We need for Life answers, we can't do it on her own. It provides the power. We need for life insurance versus 10, but I rejoice in the Lord greatly that I know, at least that your care for me has flourished again, though. You surely didn't care, but you lacked opportunity, he's talking to the Church of Philippi. Hey, you didn't have everything yourself but yet you took care of my needs. The opportunity wasn't always there for you to take care of me, not that I speak in verse 11 in regard to need for, I have learned ready for this and whatever state I am there with to be want. Content. I have learned that in whatever state I am there with the be content that stuff. Hard to be content in the state of New York. What he's talking about.

Whatever position. But it is what he's talking about. The same time, whatever position you allow me to get into whatever situation before me I have learned to trust you and be content. God that you got it covered. All I have to do is follow you. Remember Abraham being told by God, hey Abraham, it's time for you and Sarah to move. Okay? God, we're to let you know when you get there, just go pack your bags. He's got to go home and explain that the service cuz they got a pack everything together. They were moving. That's okay. Where to don't know, he'll let us know. Are you crazy? Did you hear that conversation? Are you. What do you mean guys asking you to move but you don't know where Just obey. Obey and God will provide there's another time that God said, Hey listen, you're going to have a son Isaac in God, that Abraham didn't obey. God went ahead of God and did his own way and got in trouble. We talked about that Ishmael and Isaac. And yet, Isaac still came years later. God's plan is not always immediate. But God's plan is always perfect. Do you want immediate plans? You want Perfect Plans? I want God's perfect plan. You provide for me, you didn't always have the means to do this, do so, but you took care of me and that's not worried about what I have. I'm not worried. Not speaking in verse 11, a new yard of my knee for I've learned in whatever state I am there to be content. So, I know how to be a base, and I know how they abound everywhere. And, in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry or need. For I can do all things through Christ. Who strengthens me? Who gives you your strength today? Where do you gain your strength from? Or we can get it from one another. That's what the body of Christ I have to be doing but our Focus has a body of Christ with one another optimi Christ. First if I be lifted up I will draw all men unto myself. I know. That I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, never getting the situation, you don't know how you're going to get through it. You don't know what you going to do. You don't know which way to go. So you just stop and you pray to go. God. Help me to see your path. Help me to know, which direction to go here and got me. Safe. Okay, go this way. And I don't want to go.

Is it going to be perfect? Is going to be better than the way you were going to go, but even in God's ways are is Hills and there's Bally's. Amen. Even in God's way, you stumble and you fall and you pick yourself back up and you go ahead. You know why? Because when we're on God's way, the enemy doesn't like it. When we're not on God's way the enemies not going to bother us. Just let him go get again to the edge of the cliff over here. They don't know about and they're going to go walking at night and fall off the cliff. That's what the devil's way. See when we're trying to please God, more trying to walk with God, we're going to meet controversy because the devil does not like that. What we need not to be doing is causing the controversy within ourselves. Acts 1:8 says this but users receive power. When the Holy Spirit is come upon you. And you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria and to the other end of the of the Earth. First, it starts right? Where we are. This is our Jerusalem. We are to be witness. We're right here. If we can't be Witnesses. Right here is not going to be easy for us to be Witnesses. Elsewhere, are responsibilities is right where we are be Witnesses. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you. How do we get the Holy Spirit when you accepted Christ as your lord and savior, you receive the Holy Spirit. If you know Christ as your lord and savior, the holy spirit is in you. How much of that do we use now? Or how much of it do we abused? Might I say, we try to abuse the Holy Spirit. We can abused the Holy Spirit. God is in control. But we try to work things out our way, that's what gets us in trouble, and then we blame God. Oh God, why did you let me will? You went down that path?

Yesterday morning. We have grandkids to play soccer. So Dawson and Karina, one-on-one soccer, team me. She's on a different soccer team at a different time, but both games were yesterday morning. Are any watches kids play soccer in their age bracket? It's, it's a whole different ball game. I'm watching a meeting and Dawson play soccer and Koreans more involved than then Dawson. But here's Dawson somewhere in the middle of the game. B's

looking up the sky and the balls coming out in behind him and he's playing defense and he has no clue and He's screaming at him. In the balls coming. He's looking at you. Cuz what are you talkin about?

Tyrangiel chase the ball and but she'll get distracted. It's that age that you're at.

Hour later. We're watching a me a little bit older group of kids playing they get distracted as well, but more into the game than that younger group. And then last night at 7 and I watch the Greenwich in Stillwater, Varsity soccer game boys, soccer game, where this argument took place between parents and they are focused double overtime. Soccer game. I mean 8:30, I was ready to go to bed. Game started at 7. Now its 9. I'm looking at. He puts himself to be at like 8 every night and his eyes are getting a phone that way. My cool Dawson you okay, you had a pack of Skittles in his hand. I said hey can pops have a Skittle? Nope. He knew what he had, but he was Don. My point is always Varsity, Boys. A little more focused, nobody's danger. Even nobody's their focus on what's going on. They both had a purpose. Most teams, had a purpose for being out there and that was to beat the other team. There's always going to be a winner and the loser because even if you don't feel like you want, right? Somebody's going to win somebody's going to lose most times. The Lost hurts.

Hertz the types of hurts parents more that hurts the kids. I don't get it later way. We're the same way as Christians. Maybe a a new Christian psychic. Okay, I don't really know God what's happening. So we're sort of dating waiting for the lightning clap to happen. God's big booming, voice gold.

And sometimes as they mature Christian we're out there and we, we've been through it, we know it, we're we're just doing what we do and sometimes we get frustrated with the immature Christian, right? Because they're not doing it our way. Pausing. Hey listen. what I've shown you, what I've taught you how I've lived before you Do that. Now I like better be right if we're going to tell people live like we live by light like better be good if we're telling them how to do it God's way. Is that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me? But in verses 14 through verse 20, we see that he provides in the material that we need as well. He just said okay, you're on your own don't do it? No he provides everything for us looking for 14. Nevertheless you have done the wall that you shared in my distress? You didn't have much but you helped and you phillipians know also that in the beginning of the Gospel, when I departed from Macedonia no church shared with me, concerning giving and receiving but you only you are the only one investing in my Ministry. He was still going on the last no matter what even if that's like a you sent eight once and again for my Necessities. Not that I seek the gift. But what I seek is a fruit that abounds to your account for what you did, that's awesome pulse. This is not about me about glorifying God and it's about you getting blessed for helping me do the ministry that God has called us To do. Not everybody. Desire to stand up in front of a church on a Sunday morning and preach the gospel. this afternoon, there's three of us from our church that will go to Rensselaer County, emergency service, memorial service this afternoon and will be speaking reading scripture or Craig this afternoon three of us from our church participating in that an opportunity to share a gospel message if you want. Even if it's the word of God, that's greater than a man that never comes back for sharing the word of God or sharing a prayer. Any vokey, the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And all of that, there's Ministry going on. That we may not ever see the fruit of here. But who knows what's going to happen? 10 years from now 20 years from now, you'll be blessed by the fruit that a bounce. For helping me. Share the gospel. Verse 18, indeed, I have all in the background. I am for having received from epaphroditus. The same set from you a sweet-smelling, Aroma and acceptable sacrifice will pleasing to God closes. Hey, thank you for the care package. Never get one of those when you went away from home for the first time, Mom. And Dad ever, send you a care package. Something that was a reminder of maybe some cookies, maybe a picture of something. Whatever it was is I who who I got this and even if it stunk, you like that, Because it was reminder of who you were and those who loves you. Paul says, hey, I thank you that you have sent me. These sweet smelling Aromas, as sacrificed well, pleasing to God. Because he tells us a 19 where it all comes from, does a, my God shall supply all your need, according to his riches. In Glory by Christ Jesus. Has he done that for you? Has your godson supplied? All your needs? He doesn't say he's going to supply all of our once. Get that out of your head. But has he supplied? All your needs? Has he given you everything you need. We can mess that up. He said we can look at our own finances. They will I am so far in debt, God's not prevent well that's not God's fault. He gave you what you needed. And you went out and got stuff that you wanted and expecting God to take care of it. I'll supply all your wants. No, that's not what he says. I will supply all your needs when you woke up this morning took that first. Deep breath of air into your lungs. After your eyes are wide awake. Did you say? Thank you, God for another day. Or did you say, oh, Lord. Got to travel to church today. Here that stinking Pastor fries The long way over there. God I travel every day to work, they're going to want money in the offering baskets there.

Now, that was 8:30 people like I know, right? But here's the thing. this church or any church will not survive if we don't do our part now, If we're say, well, we'll let the Next Generation take care of its guts, too late. That's too late.

I wouldn't mind going back to the generations of the herald Wiley's. You know I'm saying those guys work from the ground up. There wasn't much given to them, they wouldn't fought for our country. Here's some of the stories of Harold Wiley flaming flying, his B-52 bomber and bullets coming up between his feet. Supply, all my needs now to go. That's a little close. Right. And yet God use the herald while he's in the remingtons and others are Hank and Polly Glenn's to put a church to gather some 45 years ago. And here we are. Because of their giving in the past, we are benefiting today. Who's going to benefit 45 years from now? From you being here? I've got Terry's is coming. I don't plan on being here, 45 years from now. I'm the old, right? I'll be a hundred and eight years old, 45 years from now that's a long, long time to live and you don't want to watch me up here drooling. I do that now you just can't see it.

Somebody will be here good Lord willing. If he tarries is coming and it's going to be a whole total different Society have to contend with. But the word of God stays the same. It doesn't change.

Paul did not have a wealthy organization, giving him support. But he did have a great God who enabled generous friends to meet his needs. Paul saw their gift as a fragrant sacrifice in verse 18, He talks about that you had sent me a sweet-smelling Aroma and acceptable sacrifice, well, pleasing to God.

I'm going to confess a fault this morning. You ready? Get your pencils. You want to write this down? I love my grandkids. All right. Why do I love all my grandkids? All nine of them. but then when they bring me a chewed-up piece of candy and want me to put it in my mouth,

Right. What, what? What are you, what? Kind of Grandfather you? One that's going to try to fake it for them to think I partook of that solve. The problem with that is you get more

and, you know, I will They will watch your point. Okay. Sometimes the gifts that we're giving we look at, and they're not very sweet in our eyes. They're not a great Aroma for us. but if that's all we have to give God, He's well-placed, amen. Don't spend it all elsewhere. So you don't have much to give to God, be thankful for what God has given you. This is why the Bible say we need to do it. Give it to God first. And then the leftovers is what we deal with. Usually we give God the leftovers. We suck all the blood out of it. Now you can have it.

Here's part of my reason for that. Candy thing with your grandkids, I grew up in church, all my life.

As a fragrant sacrifice to the Lord as little as it might have been, it was a lot to him and a lot to God, he was rejoicing with God for what they did, all your needs according to his riches in glory. I remember what we read in Philippians 1:21, where you said for me to live is Christ to die is gain. Can you say that today? Three things I want to share with you. Real quick will be done here. One minute. Through Christ. We see this all in verse 4:11, see through Christ, we can be, what we ought to be looking at what he says, not that I speak in regard to need for. I have learned in whatever state I am there with the be content through Christ. We can be what we ought to be looking for 13 through Christ, we can do, what we ought to do. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. And then verse 19 through Christ, we can have what we ought to have. My God, shall supply, all your needs. According to his riches in glory, all of that, we have to the glory of God. What has he done for you? What are you doing for Him? Father, we thank you. We, thank you for your word. We thank you for your guidance. We thank you for your direction. We thank you that we can gain Insight from you. Father help us today to look for those honest, Angels good things, those pure things, those just things, those lovely things helped us to meditate upon what you have given us, not what the world has thrown at us. Help us to Focus On Christ. Him being lifted up in our lives so that others around us can see him. And no through our lives, the light that shines through us because of him who he truly is. May they see a difference in us and our lives as we go forth? May you be glorified in all that we say? And all that we do will give the praise in Jesus name.
