What does the Gospel mean?
“good news”
gives us hope - hope for our lives to change
“turn to me, and I’ll turn to you”
John 3:17 KJV 1900
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
You can make a decision today to follow a new path
“the only thing worse than being on the wrong path for 3 miles is being on the wrong path for 4 miles”
sometimes you can be or feel down like youre down in a hole, like you’re stuck and can’t be saved
Psalm 113:7–9 KJV 1900
7 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, And lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 8 That he may set him with princes, Even with the princes of his people. 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, And to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.
If you turn to God, He will turn to you
If we turn to God and follow His path and live how He wants us to, He will help us
