Local Church Partnerships

One of the big distinctions with Gain will be our emphasis on local churches planting churches - not GAIN.
As we partner with churches, we are going to two things:
1. Provide the tools to evaluate and prepare church planters
2. Provide the network of pooled resources so that these planters can be given the best chance possible of success.
When I say resources, don’t just think money - in fact maybe not mainly money.
I am talking mostly about expertise and experience.
This is why we are calling ourselves a collective and not a training planting network.
The idea of a collective is that we are all throwing in this together.
We can think about GAIN as a hub that collects/distributes information about how church planters can become more well equipped.
We can also think about GAIN as a tool to be used by local churches.
It drives me crazy when parachurch develops a mission that isn’t expressly local church-focused.
