Supernatural Faith

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

GOD LOVES EVERYONE EQUALLY!!!! BUT!....

· God SEARCHES for and STRENGTHENS those whose hearts are fully His (2 Chronicles 16:9)

· God SEEKS for WORSHIPPERS who worship in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23)

· God is SATISFIED by those who live by FAITH. (Hebrews 11:6)

We are called to LIVE by FAITH…and FAITH is the only thing that pleases God. We better begin to understand what it means to live by faith.

1 John 5:4 (NKJV)

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Hebrews 11:3 (NLT)

By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

And evening passed and morning came, marking the fourth day.

God operates His Kingdom BY FAITH…that’s why we are called to LIVE BY FAITH…to WALK BY FAITH, not by SIGHT

But God’s FAITH isn’t a human/natural faith…God’s faith is SUPERNATURAL

SUPERNATURAL FAITH CREATES SUPERNATURAL REALITIES

APPLICATION

Ephesians 2:8 (NASB95)

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

What is the gift? Grace? Salvation? Faith?...it’s all a gift!

You couldn’t believe in God in your own, earthly and human type of faith

Romans 10:17 (NASB95)

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

God had to give you HIS FAITH for you to BELIEVE in HIS WORD for Salvation

Romans 12:3 (NLT)

Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.

Galatians 2:16,20 TPT

…we know that no one receives God’s perfect righteousness as a reward for keeping the law, but only by the faith of Jesus, the Messiah! His faithfulness has saved us, and we have received God’s perfect righteousness... My old identity has been co-crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!

Mark 11:22-24 TPT

22 Jesus replied, “Let the faith of God be in you! 23 Listen to the truth I speak to you: Whoever says to this mountain with great faith and does not doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’ and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. 24 This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—be convinced that you have received it and it will be yours.

There’s a human, natural faith that believes only what it can see, taste, smell, touch, or feel…but there’s a SUPERNATURAL Faith that we have all received that does not base it’s reality in what can be seen, touched or felt. SUPERNATURAL FAITH…GOD’S FAITH…finds it’s substance and evidence in the unseen…

You have SUPERNATURAL FAITH…but it has to be EXCERCISED…STRENGTHENED…worked out!!

1) BELIEVE IN THE THINGS I CANT SEE YET, AND SPEAK OUT ACCORDING TO THAT BELIEF

2 Corinthians 4:13 (NASB95)

But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak,

…..God, who….calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

2) ONCE I HAVE BELIEVED AND SPOKEN, I ADD ACTION TO IT

James 2:17 NKJV

…faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead

I don’t just TALK faith, I WALK faith

I don’t just SPEAK it..I LIVE IT

I don’t just BELIEVE…I BEHAVE

If I’m believing for healing…I believe it, I speak it, and I act like I’m healed…I don’t think like a sick person, I think like a healed person fighting off sickness…I look at my future not like a sick person, but like a healed person…I see my future like God sees it and I plan accordingly…I don’t make plans like I’m going to be sick…I make plans that reflect the evidence and substance of faith in such a way that I plan like a healthy person…etc.

Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Supernatural faith is trusting and speaking and acting according to God’s Word…it’s speaking in agreement with what God has already accomplished and provided for us by His Grace. Faith doesn’t require physical evidence…faith is the evidence…faith is the substance until the physical evidence is seen. Faith trusts in the unseen realities more than the seen until the unseen becomes seen. We live by faith in any area of our life…and our faith is the substance until there is substance. We stand in faith (without doubt) for as long as it takes for the faith to pull the unseen into the seen.
