Luke 3:15

Was John the Christ or not?
He was so close in his doctrine.
He was so close in his delivery.
He was so close in his deportment.
…as we all should be!
We need credibility, but why is it so important?
It is important because we have some messages that must be delivered.
Here are the MESSAGES we have in our testimony.

I. The Message of Salvation.

We want to persuade others to convert to Christ and believe the Gospel, lest they die and spend eternity in Hell.
John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

II. The Message of the Second Coming.

We want to persuade others to prepare for His coming and to be ready for His return.
Matthew 24:44
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

III. The Message of Service to Christ.

We want to persuade others to consecrate their life to the Lord and serve Him.
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

IV. The Message of the Source of our Existence.

We want to persuade others about their true Creator and the fact that God is the ultimate authority of the universe.
We are to submit to Him and obey is Word.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made.
We do have a purpose for our existence and that purpose is to glorify Him.
Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
