This Week’s Theme: Disciples Seek God.
Sermon Title: “Get With The Program.”
Memory Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NKJV) “Pray without ceasing.”
This Week’s Word is Prayer: To communicate with God in order to know His plan (the how?) to carry out His will (the what?) for their life and others, and it is petitioning or requesting assistance for the purpose of Him enriching our lives for His glory.
Essence of the Text in a Sentence: Jesus taught his listeners that what they should desire and be concerned about most is God’s kingdom and doing what God wants.
Sermon Objective: I want those in attendance to put God and His plans and purposes first in their lives.
