Refresher

Luke 21:8–11 NASB95
And He said, “See to it that you are not misled; for many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not go after them. “When you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified; for these things must take place first, but the end does not follow immediately.” Then He continued by saying to them, “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
Don’t let the events distort your understanding
Concentrate on Him
Proverbs 3:5–6 NASB95
Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 NASB95
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Are We There Yet?

Are we in the last times or last days?
Is that a phrase reserved for the time of judgment?
God Said mans heart is wicked he told Noah:
Genesis 6:5 NASB95
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
and Jeremiah records:
Jeremiah 17:9–10 NASB95
“The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it? “I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.
Man has been evil to man for a long time, but there is only one final “DAY” of judgment coming during which the ultimate evil will exsaperated :
Revelation 16:9 NASB95
Men were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.
When Paul wrote to Timothy, what was he describing? the day in which they were living or in the time of the end?
1 Timothy 4:1–3 NASB95
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.
We see this now, a practice which began in the Roman Catholic in 1018 under Pope Benedict the VIII. The then, seemingly mainstream Church, further departed from truth to a lie and therefore “fell away” from the truth.
2 Timothy 3:1–9 NASB95
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes’s and Jambres’s folly was also.
Just as we have seen the “birth pangs” of the coming end in wars and rumors of wars, so we too see the predessor to the darkest days in man’s history yet to be fully realized.

BUT, WE HAVE HOPE

The Church, the bride of Christ is not meant for wrath.
If this sounds familiar, its because it is
We must spread the GOOD NEWS
Christ is coming for His Bride before the Wrath falls upon the whole earth ~
Revelation 3:10 NASB95
‘Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
No mather what happens going forward, you can know you are in Christ and He will provide a means of escape… no from temptation ~
1 Corinthians 10:13 NASB95
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
But from the wrath that is to come, which is meant for the unrighteous ~
Isaiah 13:11 NASB95
Thus I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their iniquity; I will also put an end to the arrogance of the proud And abase the haughtiness of the ruthless.
Proverbs 11:21 NASB95
Assuredly, the evil man will not go unpunished, But the descendants of the righteous will be delivered.

Before We Go!

YEs we can rejoice inthe hpe we have, but
We need to warn the world
Ezekiel 3:18 NASB95
“When I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.
I heard a commentator say:
There is no Love in us if we do not warn the wicked.
When we have demonstrated the heart of God to man, we have fulfilled the Law of God ~
Remember:
Ezekiel 18:23, 32
Ezekiel 18:32 NASB95
“For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live.”
Ezekiel 18:32 NASB95
“For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live.”
2 Peter 2:9 NASB95
then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment,
PRAISE THE LORD!
He Loves us that much ~
