Who’s packing your parachute?
Mark 3:24-26 “If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Enemy trying to divide us
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 “Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
Captain Plumb Story
Do you see people?
Do you appreciate what they do for you?
Packing a parachute was far from an exciting job.
He was well below the water line of the Kitty Hawk.
He stood at a long table where he weaved the shrouds and then he would fold the silk panels of the parachute before he passed them along to the next guy.
He wasn’t a fighter pilot.
No one cheered him as he came back to work.
No one looked up to him because of the job he had.
Who’s parachute are you packing?
Who’s packing your parachute?
(Do they know how appreciative you are?)
