Priorities: Class or ministry?
Priorities: Class or ministry?
what we learn in class can be practically applied when we do ministry.
both require a lot of time, and at occasionally one may suffer because of the other. how do you know what to prioritize?
Balance my not be 50/50. Some things are heavier than others.
seek God’s help, first and foremost.
carry burdens with others.
ex 18:18 “You and the people with you will certainly wear yourselves out, for the thing is too heavy for you. You are not able to do it alone.”
eph 5:15-17 “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
the will of the Lord is something we all must seek to listen to, and He can provide us with the answers we need
maybe you’re seeing very practical fruit from your ministry. maybe your grades are better than they ever have been.
I don’t think one can strive without the other, since we apply what we learn in class as we do ministry, but in the course of that ministry questions arise that require a lot more study.
prov 14:23 “In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.”
